About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO) to provide executive leadership in the transformation of data into actionable insights that support the mission of the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services. The CDAO will be responsible for developing and executing the department's enterprise data strategy, ensuring data is accurate and accessible, and embedding equity considerations into analytics and governance. This role involves leading a team in the design and delivery of analytics, overseeing the use of advanced tools and solutions, and serving as an executive sponsor for workforce development and data literacy initiatives. The successful candidate will also be expected to advise on data-informed policy, design, and decisions, and to produce analytics that measure effectiveness and inform system-wide initiatives. Candidates for the CDAO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or information management. The role requires a strong background in enterprise data architecture, project management, and the ability to influence senior leadership. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to advancing health equity, the capacity to identify emerging tools and technologies, and the ability to mentor and inspire teams of data professionals. The CDAO will be expected to have excellent communication skills, the ability to build partnerships across various stakeholders, and a proven track record of leading high-impact analytic projects.
