Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Entry & Inventory Scanner to support our auction intake process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical activity along with administrative work. You’ll be responsible for scanning, labeling, and entering items into our auction system accurately and efficiently.

This is not a desk-only job—expect a mix of standing, walking, lifting, and hands-on work with products of all types.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan and enter product information into our inventory management system with high accuracy
• Physically handle, move, and stage items to prepare them for auction listing
• Verify product details, condition notes, quantities, and barcodes
• Maintain organized work areas to ensure smooth workflows
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly listing goals
• Provide friendly, customer-focused communication when interacting with buyers or team members
• Follow company intake procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality data entry

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Customer-centric mindset
• Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout the warehouse for extended periods
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs periodically
• Basic computer and scanning system experience (training provided)
• Bonus: Experience in warehouse, retail, or auction environments
