Role Overview:

We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our leadership team and oversee tax engagements for a variety of clients. This role requires both technical strength and strong people skills, as you will lead client relationships, manage projects, and mentor junior staff.
Key Duties:

Review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations

Provide strategic tax guidance and identify planning opportunities for clients

Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients across various industries

Lead and supervise staff, offering training and technical review

Conduct technical research and communicate findings clearly to clients and team members

Assist with IRS and state-level audits or notices

Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure firm compliance and best practices
What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's in Taxation is a plus

Active CPA license required

5+ years of tax experience in public accounting

Prior management or supervisory experience preferred

Skilled in using tax software (e.g., CCH, UltraTax, or similar) and Excel

Clear communicator with strong organizational and leadership capabilities

Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
