Job Description Job Description We are looking for a staff accountant to join our team! This is a part time schedule 15-20 hours per week. Responsibilities Prepare individual and business tax returns, including: Form 1040 (W-2, Schedule C, Schedule E, capital gains) Form 1065, 1120-S (basic to moderate complexity) Organize and review client tax documents Enter and reconcile tax data using professional tax software Identify missing information and communicate questions clearly Assist with tax notices Follow firm procedures and deadlines during peak season Qualifications 1-2 years of tax season experience in a CPA firm or similar environment Familiarity with tax software: Lacerte or Proconnect is a plus Working knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment Professional communication and reliability during peak periods6b250ea6-cee3-481d-915c-f7283f1b2f1b
