\n\nICU RN Job Details\n

• Location: Dallas, TX 75230 (Texas healthcare jobs)\n
• Facility: Neuro-Vascular Intensive Care Unit (NVICU), Building E, Floor 7EE\n
• Unit Size: 16-bed ICU\n
• Staffing: 1 charge RN, 8 Registered Nurses per shift\n
• Patient Ratio: 2:1\n
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7P-7A)\n
• Weekly Hours: 36\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/4/2025, End: 2/3/2026)\n
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs\n
• Floating: May float to all ICUs, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floors\n
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum 4 weekends per schedule period\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license (Texas or compact state)\n
• ACLS certification required\n
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience\n
• Proficiency with standard ICU equipment\n
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred\n
• Oncology and Neuro ICU experience preferred\n
• Strong teamwork, accountability, and compassionate care skills\n

\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to patients in a 16-bed ICU\n
• Monitor and manage patient conditions with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio\n
• Assist with procedures: central line and arterial line placement, intubation, and EVD care (core staff will care for EVD patients)\n
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR system\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes\n
• Float to other ICU, BMT, and PCU units as needed\n
• Ensure compliance with unit guidelines and hospital policies\n
