Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Using dedicated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance software identify and fix ADA non-compliance issues including content issues (spelling and grammar, and broken links etc.
• For any more technical issues, alert the web team for required fixes.
• Using Excel spreadsheets and our CMS system identify outdated content and develop spreadsheets to distribute to service line and Stony Brook Medicine schools for approval to remove.  Remove (or arrange to remove) approved deletions on the CMS. Using Excel spreadsheets (or other) develop lists of doctors, locations and contact numbers listed on service line pages to check and update as necessary.  Liaise with service line managers for approvals/updates.

Skills:

• Ability to pick up simple software tools and familiarity with web Content Management Systems
• We use Drupal but any web experience (e.g. WordPress etc) will be sufficient.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word
• Strong verbal skills preferred
• Good organizational skills
• Attention to detail and good proof-reading skills.
• Self-starter.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma
